This process involves adding color pigments directly to the polymer melt before the fiber is extruded, meaning the color runs through the entire cross-section of the yarn. As a result, this webbing offers superior resistance to fading compared to piece-dyed fabrics. The Olefin material is naturally lightweight and possesses a lower specific gravity than water, which contributes to the overall lightness of the finished furniture piece without sacrificing strap strength.

Flat webbing often faces significant friction at the edges where it contacts the furniture frame. To combat this, we engineer our Olefin Flat Woven Webbing with reinforced selvages (edges) to prevent fraying and unraveling during the upholstery process.
